Quilting/Sewing Ministry
Our church just broke all previous records! We made 307 quilts for charity!
Our group grew from 6 to 14 as we have a second group meeting after work in the evening. Many young people-chemist, engineers, graphic designers—great and generous people.
Much love to those who can use them to keep warm this winter!
From CareNet facebook post:
Thank you to the Lutheran Church of the Living Christ for donating 24 beautiful twin-size quilts!
Karen Neff, Director of the Elizabeth House, accepted this lovely delivery from Tara, one of the 14 incredibly talented quilters who worked on these special gifts for our moms.
While we often receive beautiful quilts for the babies at our maternity home, these twin-size quilts are extra special gifts made just for the moms. They truly appreciate your incredible handiwork and generosity.
Thank you for wrapping these mothers in love and comfort!
