What a crew we had today working to spread bark onto the playground! So amazing to have property board members, church members, youth, preschool parents, preschool staff and various others working together to accomplish this!
Thanks for the equipment too!! Thanks to those who had a part in coordinating this effort... Phaedra, Tina, Brett, and others!
Children in Worship
Ephesians 6 Children came together to lead the congregation in singing Amazing Grace on Sunday, 3/6. They had learned and practiced this during the rotation workshop lead by Ms. Christa.
Ephesians 6 Children and Youth enjoyed their second Fellowship/Game Day on Sunday, 3/6. We learned a few new games and played some familiar ones as well. The gym was also open for ball games. Much fun was had by all! Our next Fellowship/Service Day will be held on Sunday, 3/27, 10:30-11:30am. Please join us!
Helpful Handout Bags
Our service/fellowship lesson for Ephesians 6 ministry on 2/13 included making Helpful Handout bags. We will be able to leave these in our cars and give them to people we see in our community who are asking for help.
Each of us put together a couple of bags and also took home a list of what was in them so we can put together another bag when we have handed these out.

We read a book, 'A place to stay' by Erin Gunti, about a mom and daughter who needed a place to stay and found a shelter that was welcoming. They used their imaginations to make the best of their night at the shelter.
Sub-Sandwiches were ordered by members of our church family in support of 5 youth and 2 adults traveling to Houston in July for the LCMS Youth Gathering. Sat., 2/12, youth/parents and Larry Schuman came together to assemble 82 subs for pick up on Sun., 2/13. With a Thrivent Action Grant and generous donations we were able to raise $800+ (initially) towards travel expenses for this group of 7 in July. Thank you for your support.
The Youth of Living Christ came together for a Lock In on 2/11 that was run by the CUW - Mequon Youth Ministry Team. We played some cooperative games, some tag/running games, some hard to remember lots of steps games, had snacks and chapel. With 10 youth in 6-10th grade and 6 students from CUW we had lots of fun and got in A LOT of steps! What a great facility we have to be able to play lots of games together during the night.
