Easter Sunday Joy!
Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus from the tomb on the third day after his crucifixion.
He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
Matt 28:6 kjv
Today we celebrate our Lord's victory over death.
Jesus is the son of God.
God sent His Son as a ransom for our sins. Jesus was crucified as the sacrificial Lamb for mankind.
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ gives us victory. We are now joint-heirs with Jesus Christ.
The color displayed in the church for Easter is white.
Jesus was with his disciples for 40 days after His resurrection, prior to ascending to heaven. We will follow him in those 40 days prior to Pentecost.
Join us as we celebrate Easter today.
