Living Christ has a range of opportunities for adults
to grow in faith and fellowship, including Bible studies,
small groups, men's and women's ministry, social
seniors and more.
Most groups meet during the school year and take a
break during the summer months.
Sunday Morning Adult Christian Education
Short-term studies of Biblical books, theological topics
and everyday issues – offerings at 8:00 am, 9:15 am
and 10:45 am (folllowing the 9:15 am worship and fellowship time).
LifeLight Bible Class
A more involved class covering a book of the Bible or theological topic, meeting Wednesday evenings, 6:45-8:15 pm, for nine weeks in the fall and again in the winter/spring - including short daily studies, which are then discussed as a group, followed by a brief lecture
on related material by the pastor.
A short introduction to Lutheran faith and practice, led by Pastor Dan for those interested.
GIFT stands for "Growing In Faith Together" - a small group ministry typically meeting in homes once or twice a month to discuss relevant topics and learn from one another.
Women's Thursday Morning Bible Study & Fellowship
Thursdays at 9:30 am during the school year - women meet to discuss relevant topics, Christian books, etc.
Recreation & Fellowship
Volleyball, basketball, church picnic, campout, Dinners For 8 Or So, Chili Cook Off, Advent & Lent Dinners, etc.
A group of fun-loving folks over fifty who meet for lunch once a month at a local establishment – and once and a while take longer excursions.
From time to time, programs and courses are offered on relevant topics of interest - parenting, finances, health issues, etc.
