History

These are a few of the significant milestones in the history of Lutheran Church of the Living Christ

1980  Founded as Lutheran Church of the Living Christ, a mission congregation of the
          Lutheran Church-Misouri Synod (LCMS); Pastor Hal Senkbeil installed

1982  Dedicated the first building at 110 North Gammon Road (Now our Fireside Room) 

1987  Pastor Dan Kowert called & installed

1988  Become a self-supporting congregation

1990  Established Living Christ Preschool with Betty Ann Bolitho as Director

1999  Dedicated new Sanctuary and classrooms

2002  Established Family Ministries Coordinator postion & hired Michele Amick

2007  Dedicated family life addition, including more classrooms, new kitchen and Activitiy 
          Center (gymnasium), nursery, youth room & activity space 

2010  Dedicated new Columbarium (Garden of All Saints), new Courtyard and refurbished
          Community Room

2011  Preschool Director Betty Ann Bolitho retires; Rosyn Rinaldo hired as Director
